Watch John Cleese recap the first six seasons of The Walking Dead

With less than a week to go until The Walking Dead Season 7 is available to watch in the UK, we’re all desperate to know who was chosen at the end of Season 6 – but in all the careful scrutiny of those final shots, fast-forwarding and rewinding for clues, it’s easy to forget what else has happened in the last six seasons.
As anyone who saw our Narcos video knows, we at VODzilla.co love a handy video recap – and, it turns out, so does John Cleese. The comedy legend, and Monty Python legend, has teamed up with NOW to make sure everyone’s up to speed with AMC’s zombie hit. 83 episodes. 70 hours. 252 deaths. Recounting all the events from the first outbreak to Woodbury (“One star: TripAdvisor”), it’s a perfect reminder of why we should care about each of these characters, or just a chance to laugh at Rick (“essentially Clint Eastwood, but a bit more… sensitive”) shouting “Carl!” again.
Season 7 premieres in the UK on Monday 24th October at 9pm on FOX UK. Don’t have pay-TV? You can watch it live online on NOW for £6.99 a month, and stream it on-demand post-broadcast. Want to catch up with all six seasons the long way? The whole box set is also on NOW.
