Fresh from its Sundance premiere, Hot Girls Wanted is heading back to Netflix this April for a new series.
Given the subtitle “Turned On”, the anthology is based on Netflix’s original documentary of the same name. Across six parts, it will tell personal stories about people whose lives are affected by the explosion of the Internet where social media, pornography and virtual relationships are all just a click away. Each episode explores the intersection of sex and technology telling stories of intimacy, connection, disconnection, self-promotion, race and gender politics. How is interacting through screens rewiring us in fundamental ways?
The show is produced by Rashida Jones, Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus. All six episodes will premiere globally on Netflix on Friday 21st April. Here’s a trailer:
Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
