Run, starring Sarah Paulson, is heading to Netflix in the UK – and a new trailer gives us a first look at the thriller.
The film is the latest from Aneesh Chaganty, the director of the inventive thriller Searching. Co-written by Chaganty and Sev Ohanian, who also penned Searching together, the film explores the bond between Chloe (Kiera Allen) and her mum, Diane (Sarah Paulson).
There’s something unnatural about the relationship between the pair, with Diane raising her daughter in isolation, controlling every move since birth. But after years of intense, scrutinised medical care, teenager Chloe desires freedom and suspects her mother might be holding her back — and harbouring sinister secrets that Chloe’s only starting to grasp.
Co-starring Onalee Ames, Pat Healy and Carter Heintz, the film premiered in November on Hulu in the USA, becoming the streaming service’s most-watched original film to date. Now, it’s going international, with Netflix to debut the film outside of the USA. It arrives on Netflix UK on 2nd April. Here’s the trailer:
