Trailer: Michael Che returns to Netflix for stand-up special

Michael Che is returning to Netflix for a new stand-up special and a new trailer gives us a first look.
Che, who was a correspondent on The Daily Show for a brief time, is no stranger to comedy fans, having been the co-anchor of Saturday Night Live alongside Colin Jost since 2014. The pair also hosted the Emmy awards in 2018.
Che is no stranger to Netflix either, having recorded a comedy special at Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse for the streamer in 2016, called Michael Che Matters. Now, Che returns to the stage in Oakland for Michael Che: Shame the Devil. Directed by Kristian Mercado, the special will see him tackle American patriotism, Black leadership, jealous exes, loose bears, mental health and more.
The special debuts on Netflix on 16th November. Here’s the trailer:
