Watch: New trailer for David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet

David Attenborough is coming back to our screens in a big way this month, with new documentary A Life on Our Planet heading to UK cinemas, before streaming on Netflix.
Produced by award-winning wildlife filmmakers Silverback Films and global environmental organization WWF, the documentary tells the story of life on our planet by the man who has seen more of the natural world than perhaps anyone else. In more than 90 years, Attenborough has visited every continent on the globe, exploring the wild places of our planet and documenting the living world in all its variety and wonder. Addressing the biggest challenges facing life on our planet, the film offers a powerful message of hope for future generations.
The film will premiere in more than 500 cinemas in the UK and Ireland on 28th September, accompanied by an exclusive recorded conversation between Sir David Attenborough and Sir Michael Palin. The film will then be released on Netflix globally (without the Palin chat) on 4th October. Here’s the full trailer:

The official trailer for Sir David Attenborough’s new feature film has been released today, and he’s getting person as he frankly speaks about the challenges facing the planet.
For decades, the legendary broadcaster has introduced the wonders of the natural world to audiences worldwide. Now, at the age of 93 and in one of his most intimate projects to date, he reveals his own witness statement and vision for the future. It’s called A Life on Our Planet.
The feature documentary, follows the Attenborough-narrated Netflix series Our Planet, which debuted last year. Here, the celebrated naturalist reflects upon both the defining moments of his lifetime and the devastating changes he has seen. It addresses some of the biggest challenges facing life on our planet, providing a snapshot of global nature loss in a single lifetime. With it comes a powerful message of hope for future generations as Attenborough reveals the solutions to help save our planet from disaster.
The film is produced by award-winning wildlife film-makers Silverback Films and global environmental organisation WWF. It will be broadcast in cinemas on Thursday 16th April 2020, live from the world premiere at London’s Royal Albert Hall. It will then be released globally on Netflix in the spring.
