Trailer: Anna Kendrick’s Woman of the Hour heads to Netflix

Anna Kendrick is stepping behind the camera for Woman of the Hour, and a new trailer gives us a first look at her directorial debut before it arrives on Netflix next month.
The film, which was briefly attached to Netflix in development several years ago, tells the the stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actress in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a years-long murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.
Written by Ian McDonald, it stars Anna Kendrick as Cheryl Bradshaw, the contestant on the game show, and Daniel Zovatto as Rodney Alcala. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2023, with Netflix then re-acquiring the rights to the film following its debut.
Now, the film will arrive on Netflix UK on 18th October. Here’s the tense trailer:
