The Man in the High Castle launches Resistance Radio

Amazon is inviting audiences to delve deeper into the world of The Man in the High Castle with the launch of a new digital station, Resistance Radio.
The best thing about Amazon’s original series, adapted from Philip K. Dick’s award-winning book, is its world-building, which depicts a USA ruled by the Nazis and Imperial Japan with chilling realism. For those who just can’t enough of fictional alternative histories in which the Reich are in charge, though, Amazon has devised an innovative new music and storytelling experience.
The site, live now at ResistanceRadio.com, is an interesting experiment from the digital giant. Indeed, Amazon is certainly in a place where it can afford to: its Emmy-winning drama, which launched its second season at end of last year, is the most watched original scripted show in the history of Amazon Prime Video.
Resistance Radio extends the world where pirate radio stations broadcast in secret from basements, boats and pickup trucks. Resistance Radio DJs, Miss Evangeline, Bob Montez and Jake Rumiel, present four hours of narrative storytelling, broadcasting the Resistance movement’s underground message to all, with the hope that they can keep the memory of a former America alive.
The audio story features classic 1960s songs reimagined for the world of The Man in the High Castle by noted producers Sam Cohen and Danger Mouse, along with some of today’s most popular indie and alternative artists.
