TheHorrorShow.TV, the new UK-based VOD platform that caters exclusively to horror fans, has announced a new partnership with High Fliers Films.
High Fliers Films is the British distributor behind such films as 10 Years, All Good Things and Passchendaele. The deal, which will bring both new and catalogue films to the VOD platform, adds to a string of recent acquisitions by the site. Indeed, last month snapped up the rights to FrightFest hits Daylight and Raindance Film Festival favourite Outpost 11.
The HorrorShow.tv launched earlier this year with the aim to fill a genre-shaped niche in the market. It offers a range of films to rent, stream or download, both online, on tablets and smartphones.
“We’re very excited to bring High Fliers films onto the site,” says TheHorrorShow.TV co-founder David Hughes, “not least because the deal includes some exciting digital early release titles, which we’ll be able to offer before anyone else – and before DVD and Blu-ray releases.”
Titles to be made available as part of the deal include The Bereavement, The Breeder, In A Dark Place, Removal, Paranormal Asylum, The Last Experiment and Eli Roth-produced Don’t Look Up.
“High Fliers Films are delighted to be working with TheHorrorShow.TV,” said Marketing Manager Jane Lawson. “The site is a fantastic destination for all horror fans and we’re excited to be able to offer our films on the platform. High Filiers Films have a wide range of horror titles which are a perfect fit for TheHorrorShow.TV and we look forward to a successful future partnership.”
