Taylor Swift to release Folklore documentary on Disney+

Taylor Swift will release a surprise documentary on Disney+ tomorrow featuring her new album, Folklore.
Taylor Swift, Aaron Dessner (The National), Jack Antonoff (Bleachers) and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) created an album that crossed genres this year, while being thousands of miles apart from each other. Now, they’ve met in the same room to perform it.
Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions was filmed in upstate New York in September. It will see each song of the album performed in order by the group, while also revealing the stories and secrets behind all 17 songs.
The film was directed by Taylor Swift and filmed on six Lumix S1H mirrorless cameras with Leica lenses embedded in the studio, along with a one Alexa LF with an Angenieux 24-290 on a Furio robotic camera with 30+ feet of curved track.
The film will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Wednesday 25th November at 8.01am. Here’s the trailer:
