Netflix has announced that the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be available to stream from Friday 7th March for Canadian and American subscribers.
VODzilla.co can confirm that this deal does not include the UK.
The 13-episode season (dubbed The Lost Missions) will be joined by the rest of the show, as well several directors cut episodes never seen on TV, plus the feature film to boot. This multi-year agreement also makes Netflix the exclusive subscription service for the entire Star Wars: The Clone Wars series.
The final season will see an intrepid clone trooper discover a shocking secret, Anakin Skywalkers closest relationship tested to its limits and Master Yoda discover something that could forever change the balance of power in the galaxy. Netflix will also stream the directors cut of seasons 1 to 5.
“Stars Wars is one of the most iconic franchises of all time and this series joins a long line of Disney content that Netflix members are and will continue to enjoy for years to come,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix chief content officer. “The Clone Wars marks an important moment as Netflix welcomes more and more first-run content from The Walt Disney Company and its subsidiaries.”
