Sky has boosted the line-up of shows available to stream on Sky Go.
The broadcaster’s mobile TV service allows Sky customers to watch series both live and on-demand on the go. Now, it’s expanding its Catch Up catalogue through new deals with E! Entertainment Television, Syfy and Universal Channel.
The service already has shows available on demand from channels such as Sky Atlantic, MTV and Nickelodeon. They will be joined by Universal’s How to get away with Murder, Sleepy Hollow and Chicago Med, E!’s I am Cait, The Royals, and Fashion Police, and Syfy’s Extant, Killjoys and 10 000 Days.
The added titles arrive as the app undergoes a string of upgrades. Navigation is already quicker and simpler for users, following a recent redesign, while Sky promises further features in the coming months that will “make the app even better”.
Luke Bradley-Jones, Sky’s Brand Director of TV Products, comments: “We know customers like to make their own TV schedule to fit around their lives. It’s why we’re adding even more to watch on Sky Go. The arrival of shows from E!, Syfy and Universal Channel in our Catch Up service continue our commitment to give customers the best TV in a way that’s flexible to their lifestyles.”
Popular shows on the Sky Go service in the last few months include Ex on the Beach, The Walking Dead and A League of Their Own. The Manchester City v Liverpool Capital One League Cup Final in February was the most popular sporting moment.
