Netflix has released a new poster for its Bill Murray Christmas Special.

The show, titled A Very Murray Christmas, pays homage to the classic variety show of festival TV schedules past and stars Bill Murray as Bill Murray, as he worries no one will show up to his special programme due to a terrible snow storm in New York City.

Directed by Sofia Coppola, who has written it with Bill Murray and Mitch Glazer, the variety show is a star-studded affair, with a cast that includes George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Michael Cera, Maya Rudolph, Miley Cyrus and Jason Schwartzman.

But the partridge in the pear tree is Murray himself – and, as the new poster proves, he’s never looked more cheerful than when wearing a Santa hat. Honest.
