Our Girl recap available on BBC iPlayer ahead of Season 2

Ahead of the new series of BBC One’s Our Girl, a 10-minute recap of last year’s single drama is now available on BBC iPlayer.
The recap covers the events of the RTS-nominated drama where viewers can see why East End girl Molly Dawes, played by Lacey Turner, took her destiny into her own hands and joined the British Army as a medic.
The new five-part series, which starts on Sunday 21 September at 9pm, picks up six months from where we last saw Molly after completing her initial training. Molly is thrilled to be deployed to Afghanistan as a serving medic on one of the last missions before draw-down but quickly learns she has to prove herself to her new platoon.
Molly will be forced to grow up very quickly by the unforgettable experiences she faces and will make friends among her platoon, as they face extraordinary challenges in a foreign land far away from home.
