One of your favourite Jessica Jones characters will return for Iron Fist, Marvel has announced.
Please forgive the vague headline, but these kind of crossover announcements within the Marvel and Netflix universe can be spoilers for people still viewing (or yet to view) earlier Hell’s Kitchen outings – but if you don’t mind knowing who makes it out of Jessica Jones alive, and who will be in Netflix’s new superhero adventure, keep reading.
Yes, Carrie-Anne Moss will renew her role as everyone’s favourite hard-nosed female lawyer, Jeri Hogarth.
Hogarth, whom we last saw in the Season 2 finale of Daredevil, will be on hand in the final of the four Netflix series to help Danny Rand (Finn Jones), as he returns to New York.
“Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga, and we share our viewers’ excitement in bringing her into Marvel’s Iron Fist,” says Executive Producer/Head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb. “As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in.”
“Danny Rand lives in the highest stratosphere of New York’s business society and he’s going to need a ruthless lawyer to help him navigate this alien world,” comments Executive Producer and Showrunner Scott Buck. “I’m very happy to have the opportunity to bring Carrie-Ann Moss as Jeri Hogarth into Marvel’s Iron Fist.”
She joins a cast that includes Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, David Wenham as Harold Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum, and Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum.
The show sees Rand return to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
