BoJack Horseman is saddling up for its final few episodes this month, and a new trailer gives us one last look at Netflix’s animated stallion before it gallops off into the sunset.
The adult series stars the uniquely voiced Will Arnett as BoJack, a failed legendary 90’s sitcom star from the favorite family sitcom “Horsin’ Around,” who has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships. He’s joined by a cast of eccentrics, oddballs and otherwise troubled people, including human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris).
Season 6 dropped its first half in October last year, with the final episodes now joining them on 31st January. Here’s the trailer:
BoJack Horseman: Season 6 is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.

BoJack Horseman is coming back one last time, and a new trailer gives us our first glimpse of the end.
The adult animation stars the uniquely voiced Will Arnett as BoJack, a failed legendary 90’s sitcom star from the favorite family sitcom “Horsin’ Around,” who has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships. He’s joined by a cast of eccentrics, oddballs and otherwise troubled people, including human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris).
Created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the series is Executive Produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Steven A. Cohen and Noel Bright, alongside Arnett and Paul.
“It’s the worst that Bojack Horseman the character has been, but it’s the best that Bojack Horseman the show has been,” is how we described Season 5 in our review. “Season 5 ends with the question, once more, of whether he can change. And as the previous episode reminds you of one song from Cabaret, the final moments leaves you remembering another: maybe this time.”
Season 6 will air in two parts, with the first debuting on 25th October and the second on 31st January 2020. Here’s the video:
Netflix renews BoJack Horseman for Season 6
31st October 2018
Netflix has renewed BoJack Horseman for a sixth season.
The adult animation stars the uniquely voices Will Arnett as BoJack, a failed legendary 90’s sitcom star from the favorite family sitcom “Horsin’ Around,” who has been trying to find his way through a muddle of self-loathing, whisky and failed relationships. Now, in the presence of his human sidekick Todd (Aaron Paul) and his feline agent and ex-paramour Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris), BoJack is primed for his comeback…
Created by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the series is Executive Produced by Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Steven A. Cohen and Noel Bright. Will Arnett (The Millers, Arrested Development) and Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) also serve as Executive Producers.
BoJack was designed by graphic artist Lisa Hanawalt and is animated by LA-based ShadowMachine. The show is a Tornante Production, brought to life by Michael Eisner’s The Tornante Company.
BoJack Horseman Season 5 galloped onto Netflix in September, once again winning acclaim from its fans and critics, ourselves included, as the show resolutely refuses to allow its protagonist to grow and develop.
Less than a month later, Netflix has already ordered more episodes, as the series becomes one of its flagship originals. The renewal decision was announced alongside the commissioning of a second season of fellow adult animation Paradise PD.
