“When people look at me, all they see is the spoiled daughter of a hotel magnate…” That’s the sound of Lindsay Lohan heading to Netflix for a Christmas rom-com – and a new trailer gives us a look at Falling for Christmas.
The film, which is one of two Lohan projects in the works at the streamer, sees the Mean Girls star play a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress who gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.
Directed by Janeen Damian from a script co-written with Michael Damian, the film premieres on Netflix on 10th November. Here’s the trailer:

Lindsay Lohan is heading to Netflix for a new romantic comedy.
The untitled film will see the Mean Girls star play a “newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress”, who finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter after getting total amnesia in a skiing accident.
The film marks a return to the screen for Lohan, whose film work has been intermittent since 2013’s The Canyons and was recently seen in Sky One’s comedy Sick Note, opposite Rupert Grint and Nick Frost, as well as the 2019 MTV reality series Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club.
Netflix announced the casting on Twitter, with Janeen Damian directing from a script co-written with Michael Damian. Expect it join Netflix’s growing catalogue of Christmas-related films in 2022.
