Keeping up with Vai Anitta? Netflix announces new reality series

Hot on the heels of Queer Eye’s reboot bagging an Emmy nomination, Netflix is expanding its reality TV library with a new docuseries about Brazilian star Vai Anitta.
With more than 29.4 million followers on Instagram, two billion views on YouTube and a rising international career, Anitta is presently Brazil’s biggest pop star. At the young age of 25, the singer has become a rising performer in her home country and worldwide, reaching success with smashing hits such as Downtown – the first song by a Brazilian artist to be featured on the Spotify’s Top 20, and Vai Malandra – a song that, besides breaking all Brazilian streaming records, was the first Brazilian ranked in the Top 25 Global Charts on Spotify.
In the unscripted biographical series, produced by Shots Studios, the cameras will have unrestricted and uncensored access behind the scenes of her hectic routine: from the shows in Brazil to traveling around the world, through the interaction with the fans in social media and her personal life.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, the singer has been conquering an international reach. In the Netflix series, fans will have the chance to see her in intimate moments and understand how the singer has been building up and managing her career, without losing her essence and love for her home.
Vai Anitta will debut on Netflix later this year.
