Trailer: Trinkets returns for Season 2 this summer

“The three of us walking in together? It’s like out coming out party.” That’s the sound of Trinkets returning to Netflix as Elodie, Tabitha and Moe reunite for a second season.
Based on the young adult novel by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith, who serves as an executive producer, Season 1 saw the three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting. An unlikely friendship formed and now, Elodie (Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool) — the grieving misfit, Moe (Kiana Madeira, The Flash) will try to make sure their troubled pasts won’t rob them of their futures.
Season 2 drops on Netflix on 25th August. Here’s the new trailer:

Friendship is priceless. Everything else you can steal. That’s the message taught by Trinkets, Netflix’s new original series, and a trailer gives us a first look at the drama in action.
Based on the young adult novel by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith, who serves as an executive producer, the series follows three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria, who find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting, an unlikely friendship forms. Elodie (Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool) — the grieving misfit, Moe (Kiana Madeira, The Flash) — the mysterious outsider, and Tabitha (Quintessa Swindell) — the imperfect picture of perfection, will find strength in each other as they negotiate family issues, high school drama and the complicated dilemma of trying to fit in while longing to break out.

Trinkets: Netflix brings young adult book to the screen

Netflix has ordered Trinkets, a new series based on the young adult novel of the same name.
Written by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith, the book was published back in 2015. It follows three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria, who find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifter’s Anonymous meeting. An unlikely friendship forms between the trio: Elodie — the grieving misfit, Moe — the mysterious outsider, and Tabitha — the imperfect picture of perfection, will find strength in each other as they negotiate family issues, high school drama and the complicated dilemma of trying to fit in while longing to break out.
Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool, Tragedy Girls) stars as Elodie, alongside Kiana Madeira (The Flash, Sacred Lies) as Moe and Quintessa Swindell as Tabitha. They are joined by Odiseas Georgiadis (The Stand-In, Dr. Bird’s Advice for Sad Poets) stars as Noah, Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as Luca, Brandon Butler (13 Reasons Why) as Brady, Larry Sullivan (Big Little Lies, Scandal) as Doug, October Moore (Baskets, Grimm, Portlandia) as Vicky, and Larisa Oleynik (Mad Men, Hawaii Five-O) as Shawn.
The series is produced by Awesomeness, with Smith serving as Executive Producer, alongside writers and fellow EPs Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer, plus Shelley Zimmerman, Brin Lukens, and Rebecca Glashow. The Showrunner is Linda Gase.
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes in total, with Sara St. Onge set to direct the first two.
