Trailer: Netflix’s The Fix solves the world’s big problems

This winter sees Netflix enter new territory, as Jimmy Carr hosts its first panel show. The comedy series aims to solve the world’s biggest problems by throwing comedians at it and hoping they come up with something useful.
The series will reunite Carr with Your Face Or Mine host Katherine Ryan, who will be one of two permanent team captains on the panel show, alongside D.L. Hughley.
Exec-produced by Michael Davies and Andrew Westwell, each episode sees Carr, Hughley and Ryan joined by guest comics to debate and discuss one of the biggest challenges facing the world in a team format… because who better to solve the world’s problems in 30 minutes or less than comics?
Netflix has ordered 10 episodes, as part of its growing push into unscripted TV. Its current non-scripted line-up of projects includes everything from Queer Eye to Ultimate Beastmaster. Jimmy Carr is heading to Netflix to host a new original series called The Fix.
The Fix is the first comedy show in the world with the stated ambition to solve the world’s biggest problems. Through comedy. And experts. But mainly through comedy. In each episode Jimmy Carr, will host guest comics and experts in taking one massive issue facing the world and attempting to solve it.
The series will reunite Carr with Your Face Or Mine host Katherine Ryan, who will be one of two permanent team captains on the panel show, alongside D.L. Hughley.

The news was announced alongside two other new unscripted commissions, including Westside, which follows a group of musicians preparing for a series at an LA nightclub, and Sugar Rush, a new Netflix original baking show.
