Jimmy Carr is returning to Netflix this spring with The Best Of, Ultimate, Gold, Greatest Hits from his stand-up career.
The comic, who hosts 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Your Face Or Me, became the first British comedian to film a stand-up special for Netflix back in 2016, with a recording of his show, Funny Business. He’s since teamed up with Katherine Ryan and D.L. Hughey to front Netflix’s first panel show, The Fix, which arrived on Netflix last year.
Now, he’s continuing his relationship with the streaming service by returning for a third time, with his new special dropping next month.
Carr, who filmed the show at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, announced the news on Twitter with a video teasing some of the jokes from the tour.
“Here’s a frightening fact,” he explains. “If you took all the money that we in the West spend on food in one week, you could feed the third world for one year. Now I don’t know about you good people, but I can’t help feeling… we’re being overcharged for our groceries.”
The Best Of, Ultimate, Gold, Greatest Hits will be released globally on Netflix on 12th March. Here’s the video:
