James Bond heads to ITV and ITVX

ITV has inked a new deal with Amazon MGM Studios Distribution to broadcast and stream the entire official James Bond collection.
The collection, which comprises 25 films to date (culminating in 2021’s No Time to Die), will air multiple times a year on ITV channels. That in itself is no huge surprise – the James Bond films have aired on ITV since all the way back in the 1970s, and in the 1990s and 2000s had a branded “00Heaven” series of broadcasting Bond’s adventures with ITV, ITV2 and ITV4 more recently being the TV home for Ian Fleming’s spy.
This landmark deal, though, marks the first time that the Bond films have been available via an AVOD (free, ad-supported) streaming platform in the UK: each film will be available to ITVX viewers for 30 days post linear transmission.
The new deal will begin on 4th March with a favourite film from each iconic lead available for fans to enjoy each day of the week on ITV4 – and then and throughout the following month on ITVX.
Here’s the line-up for that first week:
4th March: Goldfinger
5th March: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
6th March: The Spy Who Loved Me
7th March: Licence to Kill
8th March: GoldenEye
10th March: Skyfall
The deal will also offer ITVX viewers a range of additional content to enjoy, including feature-length documentary Everything Or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007, and Being James Bond: The Daniel Craig Story.
