Isolated Laughs: Amazon Prime Video hosts free live stand-up for the NHS
David Farnor | On 16, Apr 2020
Amazon Prime Video is hosting free live stand-up comedy in aid of the NHS.
#IsolatedLaughs will run for three nights – starting tonight – and will see a different stand-up comedian take over the @PrimeVideoUK Instagram account to deliver a stand-up routine from their living room.
The sets will be free for anyone in the UK to watch via Instagram, with those watching encouraged to make a donation to the NHS Charities Covid appeal if they can.
#IsolatedLaughs will kick off live this evening at 8.30pm with Russell Kane on the @PrimeVideoUK Instagram account, after the regular clap for carers. It will continue tomorrow at the same time on Friday with Marcus Brigstocke and Rachel Parris, followed by Ginger Johnson on Saturday.
You can view Amazon Prime Video’s Instagram account here.
And even if you can’t tune in, you can make a donation by heading to https://virg.in/NHSCovid19.
