Horror anthology Holidays will be available to watch online around the world from Friday 15th April.
The film, which sees a group of directors team up to present short horror stories based around holidays, premieres tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival and will be released on VOD just a few hours later on Friday 15th April, meaning that fans can stream the movie legally before a limited US cinema release on Friday 22nd April.
The collection of creepy shorts promises to put “a uniquely dark and original spin” on some of the most iconic and beloved holidays of all time, challenging folklore, traditions and assumptions, making Holidays a celebration of the horror on those same special days’ year after year.
The directors taking part include Kevin Smith (Tusk), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold), Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes), Sarah Adina Smith (The Midnight Swim), Nicholas McCarthy (The Pact) Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate) and Anthony Scott Burns (Darknet).
The biggest name in the ensemble cast is Seth Green, although Kevin Smith’s daughter, Harley Quinn Smith, will also appear in one of the films.
The film will be released on a range of VOD platforms, but for horrors fans looking for a little more fright, We Are Colony will be releasing the film complete with an exclusive bunch of special features. These digital bonus extras will include clips from the film, insight from the filmmakers into the project, stills and more.
