Game of Thrones Season 4 preview video: A Foreshadowing

HBO have released a new Game of Thrones Season 4 preview video. Called “A Foreshadowing”, the 15-minute video contains a Hodor-sized chunk of new footage, hints at what’s to come in the new season and behind-the-scenes interviews with everyone from Jack Gleeson to David Benioff.
There are plot details for those who have not seen Game of Thrones yet – there’s still time to catch up! – but nothing too spoilerific for those who have already seen the trailer (although shots of Jaime Lannister’s new haircut may be upsetting). Rather, this is a taste of the tone of the new series, which appears to be bigger and more perilous than before. As Benioff points out, traditionally, the show has built up to a climax in the penultimate episode. This season, he says, will have climactic moments throughout the whole thing.

Game of Thrones Season 4 will premiere on Monday 7th April on Sky Atlantic at 9pm, the day after its US broadcast. You can watch Game of Thrones Season 4 online in the UK for the first time alongside its Sky broadcast through Sky’s NOW – and then stream it on-demand for the rest of the 10-week run.
