From Knives Out 2 to The Gray Man: First look at Netflix’s 2022 film slate

Netflix gave us our first look at Knives Out 2 today, with a new trailer teasing its slate of original films for 2022.
The line-up is packed with star-studded projects from big names, both behind and in front of the camera. You can expect to see cast members such as Christian Bale, John Boyega, Jessica Chastain, Don Cheadle, Lily Collins, Emma Corrin, Colman Domingo, Adam Driver, Colin Firth, Greta Gerwig, Henry Golding, Dakota Johnson, Mila Kunis, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez, Anthony Mackie, Carey Mulligan, Jack O’Connell, Regé-Jean Page, Teyonah Parris, Jesse Plemons, Florence Pugh, Noomi Rapace, Eddie Redmayne, Chris Rock, Jason Segel and Rebel Wilson. And directing them will be talent such as Judd Apatow, Noah Baumbach, Edward Berger, Niki Caro, Scott Cooper, Guillermo del Toro, Sally El Hosaini, Kim Farrant, Paul Feig, John Lee Hancock, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Louis Leterrier, Shawn Levy, Tobias Lindholm, Richard Linklater, Tyler Perry, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Nora Twomey, Kenya Barris, Carrie Cracknell, Dev Patel and George C Wolfe.
Projects on the way include Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in The Gray Man, sci-fi The Mothership starring Halle Berry, Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill returning as sibling detectives in Enola Holmes 2, a double feature from Adam Sandler (Hustle and Spaceman) and Jamie Foxx (Day Shift and They Cloned Tyrone), a comedy featuring Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy (You People) and Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg (Me Time), plus a stop-motion reunion for Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key (Wendell & Wild).
Family films include Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldaña in The Adam Project, The Sea Beast, Slumberland starring Jason Momoa,and The School for Good and Evil with Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington. And there’s the little matter of Lashana Lynch and Emma Thompson in Roald Dahl’s Matilda. And did we mention Daniel Craig back as detective Benoit Blanc in the follow-up to Rian Johnson’s Knives Out? He’ll be setting sail with a cast of potential suspects that includes Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn and Leslie Odom Jr, not to mention Jessica Henwick and Ethan Hawke.
