Watch: New trailer for Amazon’s Dead Ringers

Rachel Weisz will star alongside Rachel Weisz in Dead Ringers, and a new trailer gives us a first look at her in action twice over in the Amazon thriller.
A modern reimagining of David Cronenberg’s psychosexual thriller, the series will see Weisz play Beverly and Elliot Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.
Created, written, and executive produced by Alice Birch (Normal People, Succession, The Wonder), with Weisz also exec-producing, the series will premiere on 21st April, when all six episodes arrive at once. Here’s the new video:

Rachel Weisz is heading to Amazon Prime Video this April and new images give us a first look at her series Dead Ringers.
A modern reimagining of David Cronenberg’s psychosexual thriller, the series will see Weisz take on double roles Beverly and Elliot Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.
Created, written, and executive produced by Alice Birch (Normal People, Succession, The Wonder), with Weisz also exec-producing, the series’ first two episodes and final instalment are directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene, The Nest), with the directing team also including Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Body, Girlfight), Karena Evans (P-Valley, Snowfall) and Lauren Wolkstein (A Friend of the Family, Y: The Last Man).
The ensemble cast includes Britne Oldford (The Umbrella Academy, American Horror Story: Asylum) as Genevieve, Poppy Liu (Hacks, Better Call Saul) as Greta, Michael Chernus (Severance, Orange is the New Black) as Tom, Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty, Saint Maud) as Rebecca, and Emily Meade (The Deuce, The Leftovers) as Susan.
