“Prepare for the second coming”, declares the first full trailer for Lucifer’s fourth season – and Netflix isn’t kidding around, reminding us precisely why the series, starring the mouth-watering Tom Ellis as the original fallen angel, sparked such outrage from fans when it was cancelled. Now, it’s coming back to Netflix and the show plans to be as devilishly saucy as ever.
Reeling from the aftermath of Season 3, the fourth season sees Lucifer face a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?
Lucifer Season 4 premieres 8th May on Netflix, with Season 1 to 3 currently available on Amazon Prime Video in the UK. Here’s the trailer:
First look: Netflix releases new images of Lucifer Season 4

Not that we know Lucifer Season 4 officially has a Netflix release date this May, we’ve got our first look at Tom Ellis’ antihero in action.
Yes, in case the mouth-watering teaser video that announced the show’s release wasn’t enough to get the juices flowing, Netflix has given us a bunch of new images teasing the return of the original fallen angel. The show, which hails from Warner Bros. TV, is based on comic book characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg. It follows Lucifer after he’s given up his throne in the underworld for the underbelly of Los Angeles, where he helps the cops to punish criminals. He is joined by Lesley-Ann Brandt as devoted ally Maze, Lauren German as LAPD detective Chloe, Rachael Harris as Lucifer’s therapist, and DB Woodside as an angel trying to persuade Lucifer to return to Hell.
