There are now 52 days until Bill Murray’s Netflix Christmas special. Not that we’re counting.

The show, titled A Very Murray Christmas, is an homage to the classic variety show of festival TV schedules past and stars Bill Murray as Bill Murray, as he worries no one will show up to his special programme due to a terrible snow storm in New York City.

Written by Sofia Coppola, Bill Murray and Mitch Glazer and directed by Sofia Coppola, the variety show is a star-studded affair, with a cast that includes George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Michael Cera, Maya Rudolph, Miley Cyrus and Jason Schwartzman. Now, Netflix has released some photos and a new trailer to give us a first look at the glitzy shindig. YOu know, just in case the worlds “Bill Murray” and “Christmas” weren’t enough to peak your interest.

The comedy special will be released on Friday 4th December on Netflix worldwide. Here are the new images:
