Extra Licks: The Rolling Stones to stream classic gigs on Sundays

The Rolling Stones are going digital this spring, with a series of classic gigs streaming for free online.
Called Extra Licks, the string of concerts will run for six weeks on Sunday nights. It will comprise special past performances and bonus footage from sone of the band’s most memorable concerts around the world, available digitally for the first time.
The series kicked off on Sunday 3rd May with Out of Control, recorded at the Estadio Unico Ciudad de La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The gig, which took place in February 2016, features not only Out of Control but also favourites such as Paint It Black, Honky Tonk Women and Sympathy For The Devil.
Other concert films will include the 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour and more from the 2016 Latin America Ole! Tour, which saw them attempt to pull off an open-air concert in Havana, Cuba.
The gigs will stream at 8pm UK time every Sunday until 7th June, with each concert available on-demand after its debut.
The move follows Radiohead releasing past gigs for free on Thursdays, including performances in Dublin, Coachelle, Berlin and Buenos Aires.
