Don’t Scream: Yung Filly to host BBC Three gameshow
Yung Filly will host Don’t Scream: a new gameshow for BBC Three.
Made by All3Media’s Maverick Television, the new reality pilot for BBC iPlayer offers a team of three best mates the ultimate physical and psychological ride. Guided by Yung Filly, the trio will start with £5,000 in prize money. In order to keep it, they must complete a night’s shift in the workplace from hell – a creepy, disused shopping centre, rigged with shocks, scares and surprises to test even the hardest of the hard. But here’s the kicker… every time they scream, they lose £100 from the jackpot.
The hit YouTuber and comedian Yung Filly returns to BBC Three after viral success with dating show Hot Property, the second season of which was recently announced.
He says: “I am really excited for this show. It’s an absolute pleasure to be part of a unique show and work with a great team of creatives behind this.”
Simon Knight, CEO of Maverick Television, adds: “Yung Filly’s enthusiastic humour is infectious making him the perfect person to guide the audience through this hilarious gameshow experience.”
Rachel Ashdown, Commissioning Editor for the BBC, comments: “We’re thrilled to have the engaging and energetic Yung Filly on board for this exciting project for BBC Three. Don’t Scream is a fresh new format, which demonstrates our commitment to backing British talent and cementing BBC iPlayer as a destination for new and creative ideas. We hope viewers will enjoy this hilarious and unique pilot gameshow.”
BBC Three’s Don’t Scream will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer from 16th January 2020.
