For the first time, the opening tee shot of The Open will be aired on television in the UK this Thursday, and you’ll be able to watch it online for free with NOW.
Sky’s VOD service gives non-Sky customers access to pay-TV without the usual contracts and commitments, including sports. A Sky Sports Day Pass costs £8.99 and gives you access to all seven Sky Sports channels – and to celebrate the start of The 145th Open at Royal Troon, NOW is offering a Day Pass for free on Thursday 14th July. That means anyone in the UK can get 24 hours’ free access to the dedicated Sky Sports The Open channel, whether that’s on the living room telly, tablet or phone.
Sky Sports The Open will continue to offer round-the-clock programming throughout the tournament, including live coverage of all four days of play in their entirety. If you want to watch the whole championship, plus the other great sports events on Sky Sports, you can buy further NOW Sky Sports Day Passes, or purchase a Week Pass for £14.99. To carry on watching once the Champion Golfer of the Year is decided, an entire month of Sky Sports access costs £33.99.
To claim the free Sky Sports Day Pass from NOW, head to www.nowtv.com/freepass from 00.01 on Thursday 14th July . The offer is open to new and existing NOW customers (who don’t already have a Sky Sports Pass). The offer ends at 23.59 on 14th July.
