There’s only a week to go until Central Park is back on Apple TV+ and a new trailer gives us a proper glimpse of what’s in store from the animated musical.
Season 2 see the Tillerman family continue to navigate living in and caring for the world’s most famous park. Molly experiences the trials and tribulations of adolescence, Cole is challenged by a truly embarrassing moment at school, Paige continues to chase down the mayor’s corruption story and Owen juggles managing the park, his staff and his family all with a smile on his face. Meanwhile, Bitsy inches ever closer to her sinister goal of claiming Central Park as her own, with Helen by her side eternally wondering whether she’s made it into Bitsy’s will. Every step of the way, we are guided along by our friendly, fumbling, fiddler narrator, Birdie.
Bringing it to life is a voice cast that includes Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr, Daveed Diggs, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess and Stanley Tucci. You can hear and see them in action on Friday 25th June, when the first three episodes of Season 2 arrive at once – with the remaining five episodes arriving weekly on Fridays. The second half of Season 2 will premiere later in the year.

Central Park will return to Apple TV+ this June for its second season.
From creator, writer and executive producer Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith, the animated musical comedy follows the Tillermans, a family who live in Central Park. Owen, the park manager, and Paige, his journalist wife, raise their kids Molly and Cole in the world’s most famous park, while fending off hotel heiress Bitsy Brandenham and her long-suffering assistant Helen, who would love nothing more than to turn the park into condos. Every step of the way, we are guided along by our friendly, fumbling, fiddler narrator, Birdie.
“Sweet, surreal and stuffed with memorable songs, this animated love letter to parks is a pure delight,” we wrote in our review.
The series voice cast includes Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess, Daveed Diggs and Stanley Tucci, with Emmy Raver-Lampman replacing Kristen Bell in the role of Molly from Season 2 onwards.
