Trailer: Carmen Ejogo stars in Netflix’s Rattlesnake

Carmen Ejoko stars in new Netflix thriller Rattlesnake, and a new trailer gives us our first look at her in action.
Announced last year, the film is written and directed by Zak Hilditch, who also helmed Netflix original film 1922. It follows a single mother (Ejogo), who accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter (Apollonia Pratt) is bitten by a rattlesnake.
But she finds herself forced to pay back her “debt” by doing he unthinkable: taking the life of a total stranger in the rural town of Tulia, Texas. Ejogo is joined on screen by Theo Rossi and Emma Greenwell, while Halditch is joined behind the camera by producer Ross Dinerstein, a fellow 1922 veteran.
The film premieres on Netflix on 25th October. Here’s the trailer:

Carmen Ejogo stars in Netflix psychological thriller Rattlesnake

Carmen Ejogo will star in Rattlesnake, a new psychological thriller from Netflix.
The film follows a single mother who accepts the help of a mysterious woman after her daughter is bitten by a rattlesnake, but finds herself forced to pay back her “debt” by taking the life of a total stranger in the rural town of Tulia, Texas.
Ejogo, who has impressed in Selma, Roman J. Israel, Esq. and Fantastic Beasts, and will soon be seen in True Detective Season 3, leads a cast that includes Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy, Luke Cazge, Lowriders), and Emma Greenwell (Shameless, Love & Friendship, The Rock).
The project marks something of a reunion for production company Campfire and Netflix. Founded in 2014 by Ross Dinerstein, its recent films include the Netflix Originals Rebirth, Clinical, 1992, 6 Balloons and The Package. Dinerstein will produce Rattlesnake too. Competing the reunion is 1992 helmer Zak Hilditch, who writes and directs the thriller.
