Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 set for Netflix UK March release

When will Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 arrive on Netflix UK? That’s the question we get asked a lot, especially since the news that the police sitcom would be returning for a sixth season.
Created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur, fans were shocked last year to hear that Fox had cancelled the programme – and relieved to hear that NBC had rescued it and ordered a sixth run. With that set to arrive on E4 in the UK, as the previous five seasons of the comedy have done, fans are now waiting for their chance to binge the fifth all in one go on Netflix UK.
“Back in 2013, Brooklyn Nine-Nine wasted no time in proving that it was one of the funniest shows on TV. Five seasons in and that hasn’t changed, as Dan Goor and Michael Schur’s sitcom never fails to make you laugh with almost every single line of dialogue,” we wrote in our review of Season 5. “The gag rate is nothing short of sensational, something that it’s maintained even over changing set-ups: after Season 4 took us to Florida, Season 5 takes us to prison, following the arrest of Jake and Rosa. The result is as hilarious as you’d expect – even when you know it’s only a matter of time before they get out, Andy Samberg’s cheesy, yet undeniably competent, cop still finds ways to ramp up the sense of peril and undermine every expectation for giggles.”
Season 5 will premiere on Netflix UK on 8th March 2019 – which means you’ll have the chance to relive over and over again this timeless opening to its 17th episode:
