With BritBox looming on the horizon, those tempted by the prospect of the BBC and ITV’s subscription streaming platform dedicated to British TV have three questions: What will be on it? How much will it cost? And where can you get it?
The price has already been confirmed as £5.99 a month, and the first glimpse of the service’s is now available, with the site launching in beta testing this weekend. Now, Britbox is tackling the third question, inking its first deals with a wave of distributors.
A partnership has been confirmed with Samsung, which will see the BritBox app hosted on Samsung Tizen TVs from launch onwards.

YouView set-top boxes will also be hosting the BritBox app by the end of 2019, making the new streaming service accessible to millions of additional households across the nation.
