The nominations for this year’s BAFTA Film Awards have been unveiled, and One Battle After Another is leading the pack.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s political thriller has 14 nominations, putting it just ahead of Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, with 13 nominations – a reversal of the Oscar nominations, where Sinners has broken records to become the most nominated film in Oscars history. Close behind the two frontrunners are Hamnet and Marty Supreme.

Netflix will be pleased to see eight nominations for Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, with other Netflix nominees including Train Dreams for Cinematography, and The Perfect Neighbor and Cover-Up both competing in the Documentary category. MUBI’s Sentimental Value is also on eight nominations, with MUBI’s Die My Love also picking up a nod for Outstanding British Film. Apple TV+, meanwhile, continues to speed through the awards circuit with three nods for F1: The Movie in technical categories.

The winners will be announced on Sunday 22nd February. Here’s the full list of nominees:
