Lana Condor is reteaming with Netflix for new comedy series Boo, Bitch.
Condor is one of the generation of stars whose career has rocketed on the back of Netflix franchises, becoming a household name alongside Noah Centineo thanks to her charming breakout turn in To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. With the rom-com series about to reach its third film, To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Condor and Netflix are clearly committed to each other for the future, with a new half-hour live-action series now given the green light.
The limited series will follow a high school senior who, after years of playing it safe, decides to live an epic life… only to wake up the next morning and find out she’s now a ghost.
Condor will exec-produce the show as well as starring in it, with Erin Ehrlich (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) on board as showrunner alongside Lauren Iungerich (On My Block).
Condor, who has also appeared in BoJack Horseman, Deadly Class, X-MenL: Apocalypse and Rilakkuma to Kaorusan, will soon be seen in HBO Max film Moonshot.
