Watch: New trailer for Netflix’s Army of Thieves

It’s only a matter of weeks until Netflix assembles an Army of Thieves for its new thriller, and a new trailer gives us a closer look at the prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead.
The film sees small-town bank teller Ludwig Dieter get drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.
The film is written by Shay Hatten, who penned Army of the Dead, and is directed by Matthias Schweighöfer, who stars as Dieter. He is joined by Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) as Gwendoline, Ruby O Fee as Korina, Stuart Martin as Brad Cage, Guz Khan as Rolph, Jonathan Cohen as Delacroix and Noémie Nakai as Beatrix.
You can see them in action on 29th October, when the film premieres on Netflix. Here’s the trailer:

Army of Thieves: First look at Netflix’s Army of the Dead prequel

Zack Snyder and Netflix are reteaming for a prequel to Army of the Dead, and new images give us a first look at Army of Thieves.
The film continues Netflix’s relationship with Snyder, who will soon helm sci-fi adventure Rebel Moon for the streamer. It also is one of a number of projects expanding the Army of the Dead universe following the original film’s release this year, with a spin-off anime, Lost Vegas, also in the works.
This live-action film is written by Shay Hatten, who penned Army of the Dead, and is directed by Matthias Schweighöfer. The German-language film will also star Schweighöfer, who reprises his Army of the Dead character, safe-cracker Ludwig Dieter. The project is produced by Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Wesley Coller of The Stone Quarry and Matthias Schweighöfer and Dan Maag of PANTALEON Films.
Here are the images of Schweighöfer in action, along with co-stars Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) as Gwendoline, Ruby O. Together they play a band of thieves on a heist during the early stages of the undead apocalypse.
