“We literally haven’t said your name in a year.” That’s the sound of Mythic Quest returning to Apple TV+ for its third season.
The workplace comedy created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz follows a group of video game developers tasked with building worlds, shaping heroes and creating legends, but the most hard-fought battles don’t occur in the game — they happen in the office.
Season 3 picks up as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios. Back at Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as the boss, with Jo returning as his assistant. Meanwhile, Dana is forced to play mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering and Carol attempts to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion. At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man.
McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis and Naomi Ekperigin all return to reprise their roles, with guest stars including Lindsey Kraft and Casey Sander and – yes – Joe Manganiello.
You can see them in action on 11th November, when the first two episodes arrive on Apple TV+ together, followed by new episodes weekly until the finale on 6th January.

“Have you ever spent any time in the Metaverse?” That’s the sound of Mythic Quest returning to Apple TV+ and a new trailer gives us a first look at Season 3.
Co-created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, the comedy series follows a group of video game developers tasked with building worlds, molding heroes and creating legends, but the most hard-fought battles don’t occur in the game — they happen in the office. In Season 3, as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios, Dana is forced to play mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering. Back at Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as the boss where he truly finds himself in charge for the first time with Jo returning as his assistant — more loyal and militant than ever; and Carol attempts to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion. At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man.
You can see the ensuing chaos level up this autumn, when the series premieres on Apple TV+. Here’s the trailer:
