AMC UK no longer available on Sky

AMC UK is no longer available on Sky, BT has confirmed.
The channel first launched in the UK in August 2015, alongside the launch of The Walking Dead’s first spin-off series, Fear the Walking Dead. It has since been the exclusive first-run home of new AMC originals not already licensed elsewhere, such as The Terror.
As that acclaimed horror show prepares to return, however, AMC UK’s reach just got a little bit smaller. The channel was initially available to anyone subscribed to BT TV, but also to any Sky customers who subscribed to the BT Sport pack. In the past couple of days, however, it has been removed from Sky altogether.
A BT spokesperson confirmed the removal: “BT TV customers will continue to enjoy great and exclusive content including Fear the Walking Dead and the brand new series, The Terror: Infamy, starting next week on the AMC Channel… [however] Sky customers with BT Sport will no longer have access to the AMC channel.”
BT Sport is still available to Sky customers as an add-on, but no longer includes AMC UK. Previously recorded content from the channel, however, will stil be accessible for Sky customers as long as they remain a BT Sport subscriber.
