Nothing cuts deeper like the knife of betrayal. And judging by the full trailer for Vikings: Season 4, the show is still full of it.
The new run of History Channel’s original show sees our Vikings divided following their battle for Paris. With Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) returning to Kattegat ill, thoughts of his possible death galvanise the forces who seek to succeed him as king, including his wife Queen Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) and his oldest son, Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig).
Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) continues power struggles with her calculating, former second in command, Kalf (Ben Robson), while Floki (Gustaf Skarsgård) faces retribution for his actions.
Dianne Doan also joins the cast as Yidu, a slave who catches Ragnar’s attention. But it’s Rollo (Clive Standen) who appears set to prove the biggest back-stabber of all, as he stays in France to enjoy the authority of military victory.
