Elle Fanning, Keegan-Michael Key and Luke Wilson are all teaming up for Netflix’s latest original film, All the Bright Places.
The film, which is based on Jennifer Novel’s of the same name, began all the way back in 2015, with Miguel Arteta set to direct the movie. Niven has penned the script herself, with the story following Violet and Finch, two teens who want to escape their Indiana hometown. They cross paths when they both climb the school bell tower planning to jump off, but after talking each other down, they embark on a project that sees them explore their home state to find all the important and strange sites.
Justice Smith, Alexandra Shipp and Kelli O’Hara also star, while Brett Haley has since replaced Arteta as director, and with Liz Hannah co-writing the script with Niven.
The film is produced by Echo Lake Entertainment and FilmNation Entertainment, with Fanning, Paula Mazur, Mitchell Kaplan, Doug Mankoff, Andrew Spaulding and Brittany Kahn serving as producers, and Hannah as an executive producer.
Netflix recently boarded the project as distributor and has now announced that the film will premiere worldwide on 28th February 2020. Here’s the poster:
