A Quiet Place Part II scores third week atop UK Film Chart

A Quiet Place Part II has on to the Number 1 spot in the UK’s Official Film Chart, following its release on DVD, Blu-ray & 4K UHD.
It marks the third week in a row that the film has sat atop the only weekly chart in the world to count both physical disc and digital download sales. With 71 per cent of its total this week made up of physical copies, A Quiet Place Part II denies The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It the top spot, although The Conjuring does take the title of the week’s biggest digital download.
The Father climbs four places to Number 3, thanks to its release on disc, landing just ahead of the highest new entry, the action-packed Nobody, at Number 4.
Nobody stars Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell, a Dad who finds himself the target of a vengeful drug lord after he intervenes to help a woman being harassed by a group of men. The formerly non-confrontational father is then forced to head down a brutal path in order to save his family.
David Lynch’s original 1984 Dune makes a Top 10 debut at Number 6 thanks to its re-release across a new 4K UHD package ahead of Denis Villeneuve’s new adaptation of the sci-fi classic. Finally, A Quiet Place: 2 Movie Collection soars 23 places to a new peak at Number 8, as people opt to catch up with both films at once.
Read on for the full top 10, plus the Official Film Chart online show, which features a preview of crime thriller The Birthday Cake starring Ewan McGregor, available to buy on digital platforms from 13th September.
