Trainwreck is out now on DVD and VOD – and we’ve got a behind-the-scenes video to celebrate.
The film, which is directed by Judd Apatow, marks the arrival on the big screen of comedian Amy Schumer, whose Inside Amy Schumer has won a legion of fans in the US and UK.
Written by and starring her, Trainwreck follows Amy, who, since she was a little girl, has been taught that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo – enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment.. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of a new article she’s writing (Bill Hader), though, she starts to wonder if other grown-ups might be on to something.
The movie features an all-star supporting cast that includes Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, Ezra Miller and Tilda Swinton.
Whether renting or buying, you can watch Trainwreck online in the UK on iTunes, blinkbox, Amazon Instant Video, Virgin Movies, TalkTalk Box Office, eir Movies and Google Play. To mark the film’s release, we have a featurette from Universal Pictures exploring how the film came to life through the collaboration of Amy and Judd. You can watch it above.
Trainwreck is available on Netflix UK, as part of an £9.99 monthly subscription.
