Week 1
Star Trek: Discovery: Season 5
In their fifth and final voyage, Captain Burnham and the crew of USS Discovery uncover a mystery that will send them on an adventure to find an ancient power that has been deliberately hidden for centuries. Episode 1 to 2 of 10 arrive together, followed by episodes weekly.

Ripley
Andrew Scott stars in this new series based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling Tom Ripley novels, directed and executive produced by Steve Zaillian (The Irishman, The Night Of). It will introduce us to Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 60s New York. He’s hired by a wealthy industrialist to travel to Italy to try to convince the man’s dilettante son, Dickie Greenleaf, to return home. Accepting the job is Tom’s first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud, and murder.

Sugar
Colin Farrell exec-produces this noir thriller and stars as John Sugar, an American private investigator on the heels of the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long-buried. The first two of eight episodes arrive together, followed by episodes weekly.

Alex Rider: Season 3
The final chapter of the Amazon Freevee series will bring Alex’s journey of self-discovery to a shocking conclusion. Adapted from the fifth Alex Rider novel, Season 3 sets the teenage spy on the tail of his greatest enemy: the elusive criminal network known as Scorpia. Under new leadership, the criminal cabal plan to extort the British Government using their catastrophic new super-weapon: ‘Invisible Sword.’ Free of The Department and aided by his closest friends, Tom and Kyra, Alex embarks on a personal mission to destroy Scorpia once and for all. Little does he know, his ties to both organisations run deeper than he ever thought possible.

Week 2
The Regime
The darkly comedic, six-episode series The Regime, starring Academy Award® winner Kate Winslet, tells the story of life within the walls of a modern authoritarian regime as it unravels. After not leaving the palace for quite some time, Chancellor Elena Vernham (Kate Winslet) becomes increasingly paranoid and unstable and turns to a volatile soldier, Herbert Zubak (Matthias Schoenaerts), as an unlikely confidant. As Zubak’s influence over the chancellor grows, Elena’s attempts to expand her power eventually result in the palace and the country fracturing around her. All episodes are available at once on-demand.

Fallout

Week 3
Dinosaur
New comedy set and filmed in Glasgow, about Nina, an autistic woman in her 30s, who was happy in her world, but when her best friend and sister Evie delivers some news, she realises everything is going to change. However, this isn’t the only change coming Nina’s way. Ashley Storrie and Kat Romney star.

Changing Ends: S1
Changing Ends is co-written by the BAFTA award winning Alan Carr and the Scottish BAFTA & RTS award winning Simon Carlyle (Two Doors Down), based on Alan’s own life in Northampton in the 1980’s growing up as the son of a fourth division football manager. Alan will star in the series as himself in present day, whilst taking on the role of young Alan is rising star Oliver Savell (Belfast). Shaun Dooley and Nancy Sullivan will play Alan’s parents Graham and Christine along with Taylor Fay as his younger brother Gary. Episodes air weekly, with all 6 episodes already available on ITVX.

Resident Alien: Season 3
Our favourite invader is back. Alan Tudyk once again stars as Harry, the alien posing (unconvincingly) as a human doctor, is once again stranded on Earth where he must confront the consequences of having failed his people’s mission to destroy the human race. Episodes arrive weekly.

Feud: Capote vs the Swans: Season 1

Week 4
Superman & Lois: Season 3
This spin-off from CBS series Supergirl sees Tyler Hoechlin reprise his role as the Man of Steel, alongside Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. After years of facing megalomaniacal supervillains, monsters wreaking havoc on Metropolis, and alien invaders intent on wiping out the human race, the pair are now dealing with being working parents in today’s society and raising teenage sons Jonathan (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan (Alex Garfin). Season 3 picks up as the Kents celebrate the boys’ 16th birthday, while Lois gets some startling news.

Red Eye: Season 1
ITV’s six-part thriller is set on the red eye flight from London to Beijing, as three worlds collide: that of DC Hana Li (Jing Lusi), journalist Jess Li (Jemma Moore) and MI5’s Madeline Delaney (Lesley Sharp). All three women are thrown into the same life-threatening conspiracy when a British doctor (Richard Armitage) is arrested for murder upon flying home.

The Jinx: Part Two
HBO continues the groundbreaking documentary series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst from Andrew Jarecki, which debuted in 2015. That explored information discovered during a seven-year investigation of a series of unsolved crimes, and the man at their centre: Robert Durst, scion of New York’s billionaire Durst family. Long suspected in the 1982 disappearance of his young wife in New York, the 2000 murder of the key witness in the case in Beverly Hills, and the subsequent murder and dismemberment of a neighbour in Texas, Durst has consistently maintained his innocence – the programme was made with his full co-operation. Now, Jarecki has helmed this six-episode follow-up, continuing the investigation and uncovering hidden materials, phone calls and interviews.

The Big Door Prize: Season 2
