After a slew of original and exclusive titles were recently removed from the Paramount+ UK library, it’s perhaps fitting that this month’s big star arrivals are archive favourites – including Buffy and The X-Files.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Paramount+ UK in May 2024:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 1 to 7 – 3rd May

If you haven’t ever seen Joss Whedon’s seminal vampire-slaying series, starring a literally kick-ass Sarah Michelle Gellar, stop reading and get watching now. Then move to on to David Boreanaz spin-off Angel, also available to stream.

The X-Files: Season 1 to 11 – 13th May

Whether you’re a fan of the 2016 reboot or not, there are countless hours of TV to enjoy from the colossal archive of the classic sci-fi series, from creature-feature-style shocks to tiny figures crawling through other people’s innards.

Insomnia: Season 1 – 23rd May

Based on the novel by bestselling author Sarah Pinborough, Insomnie follows successful career woman Emma Averill (Vicky McClure), who fears she might be losing her mind, when her hard-won dream life starts to turn into a nightmare. Tom Cullen co-stars. Episode 1 and 2 arrive together followed by weekly episodes.

MK Ultra – 24th May

Based on the infamous CIA drug experiments from the early 1960s, this psychological thriller follows a brilliant psychiatrist (Anson Mount) who unknowingly becomes entangled with a dangerous government entity fixated on mind control.
