What’s coming soon to Paramount+ UK in April 2023?

Paramount+ is officially here in the UK, bringing a slew of original films and exclusive shows, as well as access to the Paramount and Showtime archive of movies and series.
This month that includes a surprise new addition to the Grease franchise, the latest Star Trek series to join Paramount+’s library and more weekly episodes of Yellowjackets.
Here’s what’s coming soon to Paramount+ UK in April 2023:
Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies: Season 1 – 7th April
This prequel series takes place four years before the original Grease – in 1954, before rock ‘n’ roll ruled, before the T-Birds were the coolest in the school, four fed-up, outcasts dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever. Written and executive produced by Annabel Oakes (Atypical, Transparent), who also serves as showrunner and director, the 10-part series stars Marisa Davila as Jane, Cheyenne Isabel Wells as Olivia, Ari Notartomaso as Cynthia, Tricia Fukuhara as Nancy, Shanel Bailey as Hazel, Madison Thompson as Susan, Johnathan Nieves as Richie, Jason Schmidt as Buddy, Maxwell Whittington-Cooper as Wally and Jackie Hoffman as Assistant Principal McGee.
Freed to Kill – 11th April
1992, in Waco, Texas. US Marshal Parnell McNamara and US District Attorney Bill Johnston are investigating the mysterious abduction and murder of Melissa Northrup, a convenience store clerk on a lonely stretch of Interstate 35, when investigators discover a 1975 tan Thunderbird near the crime scene registered to a Kenneth Allen McDuff, a serial killer who was put on death row in the 1960s.
Smile – 14th April
After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr Rose Cotter starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.
The Conservation Game – 18th April
Set against a backdrop of a national debate on captive big cats in America, The Conservation Game follows the story of Tim Harrison, a retired cop who makes a bombshell discovery while undercover at an exotic animal auction. He starts to suspect that America’s TV celebrity conservationists may be secretly connected to the exotic pet trade. What follows is a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, filled with lies, deception and cover-ups.
Star Trek Picard: Season 1 to 3 – 21st April
All 3 seasons of the Star Trek series arrive as a box set, after premiering on Amazon Prime Video, with Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Jean-Luc Picard following Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Beavis and Butt-Head: Season 2 – 21st April
Beavis and Butt-Head are back and stupider than ever, as Mike Judge revives his adult animated series to take a look at modern society.
La Brea: Season 2, Part 2 – 27th April
Season 2 continues the time-travelling adventure that began when a massive sinkhole opened in Los Angeles, plunging people into a mysterious primeval land where they must unite for survival. This season, the Harris family still find themselves separated across parallel worlds. All episodes arrive together.
