The Tattooist of Auschwitz (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 2nd May
The Tattooist of Auschwitz is the story of one man, Lali (Jonah Hauer-King), a Slovakian Jew, who, in 1942, is deported to Auschwitz, the concentration camp where over a million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust. Shortly after arrival, Lali is made one of the Tätowierer (tattooists), charged to ink identification numbers onto fellow prisoners’ arms. One day, he meets Gita (Anna Próchniak) when tattooing her prisoner number on her arm, leading to a love that defies the horrors around them. So begins a courageous and unforgettable story. Under constant guard from a volatile Nazi SS officer Stefan Baretzki (Jonas Nay), Lali and Gita become determined to keep each other alive. Around 60 years later, Lali (Harvey Keitel) now in his 80’s, meets aspiring writer Heather Morris (Melanie Lynskey). Recently widowed, Lali finds the courage to tell the world his story. In recounting his past to Heather, Lali finally confronts the traumatic ghosts of his youth and relives his memories of falling in love in the darkest of places. All episodes arrive at once.
Painting Birds with Jim and Nancy Moir: Season 2 (Sky Arts, 9pm) – 8th May
Jim Moir and his wife Nancy continue their ornithological adventure around the UK, donning their binoculars and their paintbrushes to spot and paint some of the unique species of birds native to that region. Along the way they’ll meet local ornithologists, famous artists, and a couple of Jim’s famous friends who will have a go at creating some art. All episodes arrive at once.
The Guilty Innocent with Christopher Eccleston (Sky History, 9pm) – 14th May
The Guilty Innocent is a gripping new series that explores some of the biggest miscarriages of justice in history. Each meticulously researched episode will see Emmy award-winning actor Christopher Eccleston lead an in-depth contemporary investigation into some of the world’s most infamous cases of wrongful convictions. Episodes arrive weekly.
The Equalizer: Season 4 (Sky Witness, 9pm) – 14th May
Queen Latifah is back as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn, in the fourth season of the hit US drama. In the season premiere, McCall races to save the team after they’re put into extreme danger by her former CIA colleague Michelle Chambers while she discovers the truth behind the CIA withdrawal in Venezuela that led to the death of one of her friends.
Il Re: Season 2 (Sky Atlantic, 10.10pm) – 15th May
The King of San Michele prison is back: Luca Zingaretti returns for the second season of the Sky Italia Original series. Bruno Testori, detained in his own prison, is reinstated in the role of director after Gregorio Verna, head of the secret services, withdraws the charges against him. In exchange, Testori must obtain information from a prisoner, the magistrate Vittorio Mancuso, accused of the murder of an employee of Slimpetroil Spa. This will start a battle for the truth, the cost of which will be very high. All episodes arrive at once.
The Cleaning Lady: Season 2 (Sky Witness, 9pm) – 20th May
No time to waste… we’re heading straight into the second season of the hit US crime drama just one week after the first season concludes. Season 2 picks up with Thony desperately trying to find her son, Luca, after he was kidnapped by his father Marco. With nowhere else to turn, she enlists the help of FBI Agent Garrett Miller to track him down before they leave the country. Meanwhile, an incident involving Chris forces Fiona to shield her son by any means necessary. Episodes arrive weekly.
A League of Their Own: Mexican Road Trip (Sky Max, 9pm) – 21st May
A League Of Their Own: Road Trip is heading to Mexico for their next epic adventure with regulars Jamie Redknapp, Jill Scott, Micah Richards and Mo Gilligan, as well as friend of the show and super substitute Maisie Adam. It’s Red vs Blue and, as ever, the teams will compete in a series of sporting and cultural challenges in a bid to avoid the series forfeit. But – for the first time ever – it won’t just be the team captains doing it. Episodes arrive weekly.
The Sympathizer (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 27th May
Based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Sympathizer is an espionage thriller and cross-culture satire about the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy during the final days of the Vietnam War and his new life as a refugee in Los Angeles, where he learns that his spying days aren’t over. Starring Hoa Xuande, Fred Nguyen Khan, Toan Le, Vy Le, Alan Trong, Vy Le, and Ky Duyen, with Sandra Oh and Robert Downey Jr. All episodes arrive at once.
Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show (Sky Comedy) – Date TBC
A darkly funny documentary series featuring stand-up comedian, writer, and recent star of the Academy Award®-nominated Poor Things, Jerrod Carmichael. The docuseries follows Jerrod through his encounters with friends, family and strangers, all in his tumultuous quest for love, sex, and truth.

The Equalizer 3 – 3rd May
Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.
Out of Darkness – 4th May
A small boat reaches the shores of a raw and desolate landscape. A group of six have struggled across the narrow sea to find a new home. They are starving, desperate, and living 45,000 years ago. First they must find shelter, and they strike out across the tundra wastes towards the distant mountains that promise the abundant caves they need to survive. But when night falls, anticipation turns to fear and doubt as they realise they are not alone.
Monolith – 5th May
While trying to salvage her career, a disgraced journalist begins investigating a strange conspiracy theory. But as the trail leads uncomfortably close to home, she is left to grapple with the lies at the heart of her own story.
Force of Nature: The Dry 2 – 10th May
Five women head out on a remote hiking retreat but only four return, each telling a different story. Detective Aaron Falk (Eric Bana) must find out what really happened before time runs out. Broodingly shot sequel to the 2021 Sky Original.
The Blackening – 11th May
The Blackening centres around a group of Black friends who reunite for a Juneteenth weekend getaway only to find themselves trapped in a remote cabin with a twisted killer. Forced to play by his rules, the friends soon realize this ain’t no motherfu**in’ game. Directed by Tim Story (Ride Along, Think Like a Man, Barbershop) and co-written by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip, Harlem) and Dewayne Perkins (The Amber Ruffin Show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), The Blackening skewers genre tropes and poses the sardonic question: if the entire cast of a horror movie is Black, who dies first?
Some Other Woman – 12th May
Eve was promised a few months on a tropical island for her husband’s work, but years later, unable to build the family they wanted, she has given up on any of her own desires. As the island fever grows stronger, reality unravels around Eve as a mysterious woman begins taking over her life piece by piece and blurring the lines of what’s real.
My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 – 17th May

Blue Beetle – 24th May
Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. Boonie Bears: Guardian Code – 25th May
The latest in the long-running Chinese animation franchise follows Briar and Bramble, who lost their mother a young age, as they meet an older female bear who arrives on the scene.

The Exorcist: Believer – 31st May
Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years ago, Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom, Jr.; One Night in Miami, Hamilton) has raised their daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett) on his own. But when Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia Marcum), disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.
