My Friend Misty (Sky Kids) – 1st May
Executive produced by Fearne Cotton, this show sees animated character Misty (voiced by Daisy Haggard) set out to build kids emotional resilience. Misty surprises a group of children in the show with magical visits, helping them to deal with their feelings both good and bad by providing a series of tips and practical exercises to support them in difficult situations.
Perry Mason: Season 2 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 2nd May
Months after the Dodson case has come to an end, the scion of a powerful oil family is brutally murdered. When the DA goes to the city’s Hoovervilles to pinpoint the most obvious of suspects, Perry (played by Matthew Rhys), Della (Juliet Rylance), and Paul (Chris Chalk) find themselves at the center of a case that will uncover far reaching conspiracies and force them to reckon with what it truly means to be guilty.
Bel-Air: Season 2 (Peacock, 9pm) – 5th May
More than thirty years after the Fresh Prince’s life first got flipped-turned upside down, get ready to see Will’s journey from Philly to LA in a whole new light. Set in modern-day America, Peacock Original Bel-Air imagines the beloved sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air through a new, dramatic take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air. As these two worlds collide, Will reckons with the power of second chances while navigating the conflicts, emotions, and biases of a world far different from the only one he’s ever known.
Salinger (Sky Arts, 9pm) – 9th May
This documentary includes interviews with 150 subjects, including J.D. Salinger’s friends and colleagues – who have never spoken on the record before – as well as previously unseen film footage, photographs and other material.
The Man Who Played with Fire (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 14th May
This gripping four-part Scandi Noir thriller explores the 1986 unsolved assassination of Sweden’s Prime Minister, Olof Palme. A case that sent shockwaves around the world, and is often dubbed “Europe’s J.F.K shooting”. All parts arrive at once.
Last King of the Cross: Season 1 (Sky Max, 9pm) – 18th May
For what profits a man who gains a kingdom but loses his soul? Inspired by John Ibrahim’s best-selling autobiography, Last King of The Cross is an operatic story of two brothers, Sam and John Ibrahim who organise the street but lose each other in their ascent to power. The elevated serialised drama tracks John Ibrahim’s rise from a poverty-stricken immigrant with no education, no money, and no prospects, to Australia’s most infamous nightclub mogul in Sydney’s Kings Cross — a mini-Atlantic City, barely half a mile long with every form of criminality on offer. All episode arrive at once.
Der Pass: Season 3 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 19th May
In the third season of this hit crime thriller, a string of mysterious murders on both sides of the Germany- Austria border shocks the region. However, German detective Ellie Stocker and Austrian investigator Gedeon Winter, formerly cross-border partners, have become bitter enemies. While Gedeon sets out to find his childhood tormentor, Ellie is still trying to uncover the truth about the murder of her colleague. Soon, though, both will face a decision between retribution and forgiveness in their search for justice.
White House Plumbers: Season 1 (Sky Atlantic, TBC) – 30th May
White House Plumbers takes the audience behind-the-scenes of the Watergate scandal as Nixon’s political saboteurs, E. Howard Hunt (Woody Harrelson) and G. Gordon Liddy (Justin Theroux), accidentally topple the presidency they were zealously trying to protect… and their families along with it. Chronicling actions on the ground, this satirical drama begins in 1971 when the White House hires Hunt and Liddy, former CIA and FBI, respectively, to investigate the Pentagon Papers leak. After failing upward, the unlikely pair lands on the Committee to Re-Elect the President, plotting several unbelievable covert ops – including bugging the Democratic National Committee offices at the Watergate complex. Proving that history can sometimes be stranger than fiction, White House Plumbers sheds light on the lesser-known series of events that led to one of America’s greatest political crimes.

The Old Way – 7th May
Nicolas Cage stars in his first-ever Western as Colton Briggs, a cold-blooded gunslinger turned respectable family man. When an outlaw and his gang put Colton and his family in peril, Colton is forced to take up arms with an unlikely partner — his 12-year-old daughter (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) – in this action-filled film that builds toward its fateful showdown with pulse- pounding suspense.
Dead Shot – 12th May
When a border ambush goes wrong, a retired Irish paramilitary (Colin Morgan) witnesses the fatal shooting of his pregnant wife by an SAS officer (Aml Ameen). After outwitting the SAS, now wounded, and presumed dead, he escapes, taking his revenge to the dark and paranoid streets of 1970’s London. Raw and suspenseful, Borderland is an adrenaline-fueled thriller that will leave audiences weighing up the true cost of revenge. Aml Ameen, Colin Morgan, Felicity Jones and Mark Strong star.
Mrs Harris Goes to Paris – 13th May
In partnership with the House of Dior, Mrs Harris Goes To Paris tells the story of a widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London who falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress and decides that she must have one of her own. After she works, starves, and gambles to raise the funds to pursue her dream, she embarks on an adventure to Paris which will change not only her own outlook, but the very future of the House of Dior.
Vengeance – 14th May
Vengeance, the directorial debut from writer and star B.J. Novak (“The Office”), is a darkly comic thriller about Ben Manalowitz, a journalist and podcaster who travels from New York City to West Texas to investigate the death of a girl he was hooking up with.
Halloween Ends – 19th May
This is Laurie Strode’s last stand. After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive.
Confess Fletch – 20th May
