What’s coming soon to Sky and NOW in March 2022?

Sky is reaping the benefits of its US exclusives this March, with Peacock debuting Tiger King drama Joe vs Carole and Sky Comedy unveiling Somebody, Somewhere – plus there’s the return of Bloods, Raised by Wolves and My Brilliant Friend.

Sky Cinema, meanwhile, enters its third month of its new model, replacing its daily release model to focus on quality over quantity, with titles arriving on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Somebody, Somewhere (Sky Comedy) – 1st March
For all its vast plains and endless prairies, Kansas can feel confining for someone like Sam Miller. Inspired by the life of comedian and singer Bridget Everett, Sam (played by Everett) is a true Kansan on the surface, but, beneath it all, struggles to fit the hometown mould. As she grapples with loss and acceptance, singing is Sam’s saving grace and leads her on a journey to discover herself and a community of outsiders that don’t fit in but don’t give up. Murdered at First Sight: Season 1 (9pm, Sky Crime) – 2nd March
Most killers know their victims but recently there has been an alarming rise in ‘stranger murders’. Last year 177 people were murdered by strangers in England and Wales and 1,372 in the US. In this brand new true crime series we’ll tell the shocking stories of people who were killed by someone they had never met
before. Each episode delves into a murder committed by a complete stranger.
Joe vs Carole (9pm, Peacock) – 4th March
The scripted adaptation of the 2020 Wondery podcast Joe Exotic: Tiger King gives viewers a chance to see some of TV’s most recognisable faces take on the roles of some of the world’s most infamous real-life characters. It is based on the real-life rivalry between Carole Baskin and Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel and their two Big Cat businesses. Kate McKinnon will play Carole and John Cameron Mitchell will play Joe Exotic. All episodes are available at once on-demand.
Land of the Far North (8pm, Sky Nature) – 6th March
In Europe, there is no other place where contrasts and contradictions lie so close to one another as in the region north of the Polar Circle. Brilliant colours, abundant food and hectic activity in the animal world during the polar day form a stark contrast to the soft, muted colours, struggle for survival and icy cold of the polar night. A race against time begins, as the long hours of the bright polar day are as interminable as those of the dark polar night. Both extremes are immensely challenging for both flora and fauna in this landscape – but nature has an answer for everything.
Dying to Divorce (8pm, Sky Documentaries) – 8th March
Filmed over five years, Dying to Divorce takes viewers into the heart of Turkey’s gender-based violence crisis and the political events that have severely eroded democratic freedoms. Through intimately shot personal stories, the film gives a unique perspective on the struggle to be an independent woman in modern Turkey.
Mother Teresa: For the Love of God? (Sky Documentaries) – 8th March
Over three episodes, Mother Teresa: For the Love of God? takes viewers on a remarkable ride through the twists and turns of an improbable life, revealing the extraordinary truth about one of the most recognised yet enigmatic, controversial, and complex figures in contemporary history. Told through the multiple viewpoints from those who knew her best and drawing on archive and personal letters where we hear from Mother Teresa in her own words, this series tells the astonishing story of a latter-day Saint.
The Conductor (7pm, Sky Arts) – 8th March
Documentary following the sensational story of Marin Alsop; the American conductor whose rise to prominence smashed glass ceilings, paving her way to international stardom.
My Brilliant Friend Season 3 (9pm, Sky Atlantic) – 10th March
Based on Elena Ferrante’s bestselling book of the same name, HBO’s lushly produced first foreign language miniseries hits Sky Atlantic. Set in a dangerous and fascinating Naples, the story follows the lives of two girls over six decades of their friendship. All episodes are available at once on-demand.
Bloods: Season 2 (10pm, Sky Comedy) – 16th March>
BAFTA-nominated Samson Kayo (Famalam, Timewasters) and Golden Globe-nominated Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous, Little Voice) reteam as Maleek and Wendy, two paramedic partners in the South London ambulance service. All episodes are available at once on-demand.
Funeral for a Dog (9pm, Sky Atlantic) – 18th March
Based on the novel by Thomas Pletzinger, this fictional drama follows journalist Daniel Mandelkern (Albrecht Schuch) as he travels to Italy for an interview with celebrated writer Mark Svensson (Friedrich Mücke), who lives by a secluded lake. Daniel is intrigued by the mysterious story of Mark, his friend Tuuli (Alina Tomnikov) and Tuuli’s missing partner Felix (Daniel Sträßer). It’s a story of a strong bond between three people that starts in South America and travels across the Artic Circle to New York on 11th September, ending with a catastrophic loss. Daniel thinks he recognises these people from Mark’s novel, however something is not quite right and as he delves deeper, he makes a shocking discovery.
Peacemaker (Sky Max) – 22nd March
James Gunns’ darkly satirical spin-off series explores the origins of the character that John Cena first portrayed in The Suicide Squad – a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.
The Flash – Season 8 (8pm, Sky Max) – 22nd March
When a powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances, Barry, Iris and the rest of Team Flash are pushed to their limits in a desperate battle to save the world. But with time running out and the fate of humanity at stake, Flash and his companions will also need to enlist the help of some old friends if the forces of good are to prevail. Episodes arrive weekly.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – Season 7 (7pm, Sky Max) – 22nd March
After saving 1925 Earth from an alien invasion (and getting married!), Legends co-captains Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe think they and their beloved crew can finally go home and relax. Too bad their time travel ship, the Waverider, gets blown up by a second Waverider… meaning the Legends are now trapped in 1925 Odessa, Texas. The only way to get home, and get payback on their mysterious new enemy, is to journey to New York City and find the forefather of time travel, Welsh inventor Dr Gwyn Davies. But with no Waverider, no way of knowing how they’re impacting the timeline, and a time traveling foe hunting them, this will be the toughest mission yet for the Legends. Episodes arrive weekly.
Raised by Wolves: Season 2 (9pm, Sky Atlantic) – 6th April
From Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions. follows two androids tasked with raising human children. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task. Episodes arrive weekly.

Super Greed: The Fight for Football (Sky Documentaries) – 26th March
In April 2021, an announcement was released triumphantly announcing the formation of a new European Super League of football; three days later, an apologetic follow-up announced the permanent collapse of the ESL. Fans rioted, managers complained, players made statements, commercial partners withdrew their support, the press were united in its condemnation and governments were forced to intervene. But what took place behind closed doors within that 72-hour period has been kept under wraps… until now.
Anyone Can Sing (Sky Arts) – 30th March
Anyone Can Sing will see participants put through their paces as their voices are transformed from screeching in the shower to singing like a real soprano, proving that all of us can hold a tune. Episodes arrive weekly.
The Vow: Season 2 (Sky Documentaries) – Date TBC
The hit docuseries returns for a second instalment with Oscar-nominated, Emmy-winning filmmakers Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer (The Square, Control Room) after the success of the premiere season. The first series follows members who joined the selfimprovement group NXIVM – whose leader was convicted of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and other crimes – to reveal the emotional toll of unfolding events on these individuals. The new episodes will follow Raniere into the courtroom after he was convicted in 2019, and share more stories from top members of the NXIVM cult and DOS, its secret master-slave group where women were allegedly subjected to sexual slavery. Old – 4th March
A chilling, mysterious thriller from the mind of M. Night Shyamalan. A family on a tropical holiday are taken to a secluded beach where they can spend a day relaxing by the sea alongside a collection of other holidaymakers. To their confusion and then horror, they discover that something in the cove is causing them to age rapidly… reducing their entire lives into a single day.
Pil’s Adventure – 5th March
Pil is a young orphan living in the medieval city of Misty Rock. One day, Tristain, the cruel regent curses Roland, heir of the thrones and changes him into a “chickat” (half chicken, half cat). To save Roland and the kingdom, Pil embarks in a quest for the antidote. Graubart, a clumsy guard with a good heart, Chuckly, a young loony jester, and her three teamed weasels come along. From the Cursed Forest to the Were-unicorn’s lair, Pil and her unlikely companions will live the greatest adventure. And find the family they never had.
The World to Come – 6th March
In this powerful 19th century romance set in the American Northeast, Abigail (Katherine Waterston), a farmer’s wife, and her new neighbour Tallie (Vanessa Kirby) find themselves irrevocably drawn to each other. A grieving Abigail tends to her withdrawn husband Dyer (Casey Affleck) as freespirit Tallie bristles at the jealous control of her husband Finney (Christopher Abbott), when together their intimacy begins to fill a void in each other’s lives they never knew existed.
Fast & Furious 9 – 11th March
Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever
encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena).
Malignant – 12th March
The latest horror creation from Conjuring universe architect James Wan. Madison (Annabelle Wallis, Peaky Blinders) is a young pregnant woman trapped in a turbulent relationship. When an episode of domestic abuse sends her to the hospital, she finds herself paralysed by shocking visions of grisly murders. Are these explicitly violent killings figments of Madison’s troubled imagination? Either way, someone, or better yet, something, links the past to the present, demanding closure and blood. Is the bogeyman real?
North Hollywood – 13th March
Michael (Ryder McLaughlin) attempts to answer the question every high school kid faces when they graduate: What’s next? Michael’s best friends already seem to have it figured out; one is going to college, and the other is going to work, but Michael is caught somewhere in between. He’s an aspiring professional skateboarder with the talent to back it up, but his blue-collar father, Oliver (Vince Vaughn), thinks it’s a pipe dream. Pulled in various directions, Michael takes steps to build relationships with professional skaters in an effort to forge his own path. While this decision initially deepens the rifts in Michael’s personal life, he ultimately gains the support and acceptance he needs from his loved ones – including his dad.
Reminiscence – 18th March
Nick Bannister (Hugh Jackman), a private investigator of the mind, navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae (Rebecca Ferguson). A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. As Bannister fights to find the truth about Mae’s disappearance, he uncovers a violent conspiracy, and must ultimately answer the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you love?
Our Ladies – 20th March
A pitch-perfect evocation of the possibilities and frustrations of being young and riotously alive in mid-90s Scotland, Our Ladies follows the teenage choirgirls of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour on a day trip from their port town in the Highlands to a singing competition in Edinburgh. But these are no angels – these are the sisters of no mercy. This is the rebellious gang that sit at the back of the bus, and they are less interested in the contest than drinking, partying and hooking up in the big city.
Blacklight – 25th March
Travis Block (Liam Neeson), a shadowy Government agent who specialises in removing operatives who’s covers have been exposed, uncovers a deadly conspiracy within his own ranks that reaches the highest echelons of power.
People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan – 26th March
Big screen spin-off for the popular BBC comedy series. Since the end of their pirate radio station, life has been quiet for the Kurupt FM boys, but everything is about to change. News reaches them that one of their songs has been used on a popular game show in Japan. They’ve made it. Their music is reaching hundreds of thousands of people. It’s finally time for them to enjoy the fame and fortune that they’ve always known they deserved. Don’t Breathe 2 – 27th March
Set eight years after the violent home invasion of the first film, blind veteran Norman Nordstrom has successfully recreated the life that was stolen from him by taking in a beloved foster daughter, Phoenix.
